Anabel grew up at the lake of constance in a musical family. Before preschool she received her first cello lessons. First with her mother, then later for many years from David Grigorian. In her early teens she played in several youth orchestras, especially “Junges Salonorchester Bodensee” with which she had many concerts in the region. On an exchange in Canada she became first familiar with improvisation as well as combining cello and pop music. Throughout her studies she received lessons by Prof Mario de Secondi, Prof Beatriz Blanco, Prof Jan Ickert and others. During her time at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen she was involved in many projects with a transgenre context as well as New Music. She played in many orchestras such as junge norddeutsche philharmonie and Junge Sinfonie Berlin. In her pedagogical studies she taught Beginners and advanced students in different age groups. Besides her musical career she has been part of a Summer camp for children aged 7-13 years since 2016.
